IBTimes SportsNet Article: "Spain Needs to Learn from a Difficult Match Against Georgia"

This is my latest article for IBTimes SportsNet entitled : "Spain Needs to Learn from a Difficult Match Against Georgia"

Gist of the story:

There was sluggishness among European soccer powerhouses in the opening round of World Cup qualifying matches as Spain, England, Portugal and Germany had all failed to put up impressive wins against their foes.
England merely had to settle for a draw against Ukraine with an 87th minute penalty shot to recover from one goal deficiency, so late in the match. The late equalizer from Frank Lampard prevented what could have been an embarrassing first home match for England coach Roy Hodgson.
Germany on the one hand had to struggle past Austria for a 2-1 victory. While Italy came up with an unspectacular 2-0 win versus lowly Malta.
Portugal's 3-0 win against Azerbaijan was most impressive among the lot but all of their three goals came only in the final 27 minutes.
All eyes were set on Spain, the No.1 ranked national team in the FIFA World Rankings, and the reigning World Cup and European champion, as it battled past Georgia for an unconvincing 1-0 win.
